October, the fall has shown its power

Most of the leaves have fallen and trees are naked, grass is getting brown, migratory birds have flown to south. Mother Nature is going to rest for some months here in the northern hemisphere. The time of sunlight is shorter and shorter, soon it is just few hours a day - when it shows up from behind the clouds.
The first frozen nights have been in the Northern Finland but here in the southern part of the country we still have got unfrozen ground - but I am sure it will change fast.


This is a time for us, human beings, too to turn inside. We have to have more clothing and for some reason we don't see the others the way we see them in the summer time. People are greeting each other easier in the summer than in the winter. That is so amazing, we would need more of friendly smiles and words in the winter too and they would warm us a bit in the cold weather. Well, I guess it is what we perceive - I will choose to see more smiles and get more warm hugs this winter. Will you?

So many interesting things have been happening during the whole year and more good things will happen. The life is good yet sometimes is can be quite challenging to live daily life here. Fortunately I have so many good friends all over the world and feeling blessed by it. Feeling blessed by you dear friends. Always remembering so many of my Boulder friends as well as my friends in France, England, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Egypt, .... Finland.

I have been burning candles since July already, I love the natural light, the fire, the warmth in them. Even this morning I lit few candles and have been enjoying about them.



Today the sun finally decided to show up for few moments and I see the blue sky. It is time to go out for a hike in the woods.
